challenge

One of our clients is a country distributor for a popular home shelving product from a Scandinavian company. In order to assemble products for their cleints, they need to use the shelving design program on the supplier's website, print a list of all the parts needed, manually enter each part into Excel, look up prices in the client's local currency, add markup, and create a quotation - all this work being done while the client waits for the qoute.

solution

The solution was to create a Printer++ processor that can determine the user that's logged in, process the demographics information, choose the correct report, generate those reports accordingly.

That processor is then placed on the Printer++ server so that a user simply need to print the page containing the demographics information. The computer send that to the Printer++ server and it takes care of the rest.

Health Care System Boosts Productivity with Context-Aware Reporting Workflow

challenge

A health care client industry wants to be able to print out demographic reports tailored according to the role of the person who is logged on. For instance, a nurse sees a set of printouts different from what a doctor sees. Additionally, they want to be able to log who is printing the reports for their auditing requirements.

Because it’s a legacy system, it’s risky and challenging to add the functionalities they need.
